VIVA – PSM Makassar finally managed to end their seven-match winning streak in Liga 1 2021/22. In the 29th week, PSM successfully defeated PSIS Semarang with a score of 2-1 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Sunday 6 March 2022.
In that match, PSM had fallen behind through a goal from Jonathan Cantillana in the 19th minute. However, the Juku Eja squad was able to rise and turn ahead through two goals from Wiljan Pluim in the 28th and 59th minutes.

After the match, Pluim felt happy to be able to lead PSM to victory again. The reason is, Juku Eja last won in week 21 of Liga 1 when they beat Barito Putera with a score of 2-1.
“After a few games, we realized that we had to put in a lot of hard work and everything to get a good result and it paid off,” said Pluim.
