TRIBUNNEWS.COM, MARIUPOL – One of the pregnant women who was injured in an airstrike on a maternity hospital in Mariupol, Ukraine, on March 9 died along with her unborn child.
“The first pregnant woman in the video or photo report from the location of the bombing of the number three maternity hospital in Mariupol who was carried on a stretcher, did not survive. And her unborn child did not survive either,” reported VoA journalist Asya Dolina.
Quoted from the Ukrinform page, Monday (14/3/2022), he said that this information was confirmed by Photographer Yevheniy Maloletka who was there during the process of evacuating women and taking photos for AP.

Meanwhile another pregnant woman, Marianna Pidhurska, whose photo was also taken during the shooting at the Mariupol maternity hospital, is still alive.
She also gave birth to a baby girl on March 10.
