VIVA – The Head of the Central KONI, Marciano Norman, inaugurated and inaugurated the Central Committee for the Indonesian Women’s Sports Association (PP. Perwosi) for the 2021-2025 term of service. This activity was held at the Central KONI Office, Thursday 17 February 2022.
In this period, Tri Tito Karnavian once again assumed the mandate as Ketum PP Perwosi after being elected at the Perwosi National Conference (Munas) which was held on November 18, 2021.
In his remarks, Marciano emphasized that Perwosi has a strategic role in building the improvement of the quality of sports development for Indonesia’s achievements. He believes Perwosi can help improve national sports achievements.
“In the future, I hope that more female Indonesian athletes can excel, of course if we optimize the role of PP Perwosi, God willing, Indonesia will rise in the future in every single and multi-event international participation,” said Marciano Norman.
The strategic mandate was also conveyed by the Head of the Central KONI to PP Perwosi. The family is considered a strategic target to give birth to great athletes. PP Perwosi will conduct socialization so that families in Indonesia can introduce and even support the birth of children who like to exercise. Furthermore, children who like sports will become athletes who will present achievements to Mother Earth.
“I really hope that PP Perwosi’s role as one of KONI’s functional organizations can provide assistance, motivation, and also create a love for sports that starts from the family,” said the Central KONI Ketum.
Responding to this expectation, Tri Tito Karnavian admitted that he was ready to carry out his duties. He understands what needs to be instilled in Indonesian families, namely making sports a necessity.
