VIVA – Bima Perkasa DNA management officially terminated Dean Murray’s contract as head coach. The decision was made after considering many things, one of which was the team’s performance since the first practice, the scrimmage game, until the end of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) Series I in Jakarta some time ago.
In Dean’s hands, Bima Perkasa’s DNA did not even win in four IBL Series I matches. DNA Bima Perkasa lost to Dewa United, Evos, Amartha Hangtuah, and Bali United.
Bima Perkasa’s DNA owner, Edy Wibowo, confirmed that his party had terminated the contract with Dean. According to him, Bima Perkasa DNA has a clear plan every year.
“Dean understands this decision very well. Our relationship is fine. This is professional,” said Edy, Thursday, January 27, 2022.
Bima Perkasa’s DNA plan, called Edy, was conveyed from the start when communicating with Dean. One of Bima Perkasa’s DNA plans is to raise the level of the game from the previous season’s IBL competition.
“We want to raise the level every year, both for individuals and teams. Every day we evaluate, from training, scrimmage, to games,” said Edy.
Edy explained that to prepare for Series II which will be held in Bandung, his party has appointed Kartika Siti Aminah as interim coach. Siti Aminah was David Singleton’s assistant coach when he was in charge of the Bima Perkasa team last season.
