The latest film produced by Miles Films, PARANOIA, will be available on big screens throughout Indonesia starting November 11, 2021. The first thriller drama film from director Riri Riza and producer Mira Lesmana immediately won an Citra Cup nomination for the Best Feature Film category for FFI 2021.
The film PARANOIA, starring Nirina Zubir, Nicholas Saputra, Lukman Sardi, and Caitlin North-Lewis, has premiered at the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) 2021, South Korea, and was also selected to compete in Spain for the Asian Film Festival. Barcelona 2021.
PARANOIA has opened special screenings or advance screenings in 4 cities, namely Jakarta on October 30, Bekasi on October 31, Bandung on November 6, and Yogya on November 8, 2021.
Tickets were immediately sold out on the first day the ticket box opened. In fact, Jakarta advance screening tickets were sold out in less than 20 minutes since the sale opened.
“We were both surprised and delighted. In just a short time, tickets sold out immediately! We then add the screen. What was originally only 4 screens became 8 screens and the tickets were also immediately sold out. Hope this is a sign that the audience really misses the return of Indonesian films in theaters“said producer Mira Lesmana hopefully.

Nirina Zubir, who plays the character Dina in the film PARANOIA, added, “Na is very happy to be able to interact directly with audiences in the cinema again. PARANOIA is one of the Indonesian films that received the National Economic Recovery (PEN) for the Film Sector for a film promotion scheme through the Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf). Two brands also support the promotion of the PARANOIA film, namely OPPO Indonesia and BANK MANDIRI. “I am very happy that there is so much support given to the film PARANOIA, which means that there is also a lot of concern for reviving the national film industry,” said Mira Lesmana optimistically.
