Paramount Announces A Quiet Place Part III Project With Release Date

The official sequel to A Quiet Place Part II finally confirmed by the parties concerned. Paramount Pictures just announced that they are currently preparing A Quiet Place Part III and is planned for a tentative release in 2025. Despite writing and directing the first two films, involvement John Krasinski with the project still undecided other than that he will be one of the producers.

While not sure if this third film will follow the characters from the original two films, Krasinski has said that the new film is completely separate from the original. spin-off A Quiet Place previously announced to be written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig). Sarnoski joined the project after Jeff Nichols left to pursue other projects. All that is known about this film is that it is set in the same universe as the previous films. and is based on an original idea by John Krasinski. The film is currently slated for release on September 22, 2023.

A Quiet Place Part II had relatively sizable success for Paramount, as one of the first major blockbusters to be released post-COVID. The film earned $297.4 million worldwide. The first film was a huge and satisfying success, grossing $340 million worldwide.

A Quiet Place The first proved to be a critically and financially successful film when it was released in 2018, with Krasinski crafting a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a mysterious blind monster with a keen sense of hearing. And A Quiet Place Part II continues the story of the first film after the deadly events at the Abbott family home. The sequel is one of the first films to hit theaters in 2021 following the closure of theaters due to the pandemic.

With more potential stories in this franchise, either in the spinoff or in the third film and the entry of a new director who is quite interesting, the anticipation of the various sequels is definitely higher, especially for the third film which will definitely be more interesting.
