VIVA – Indonesian mixed doubles, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, have continued their positive trend at the BWF World Tour Super 300 German Open. Facing representatives of Japan, Yuki Kaneko/Misaki Matsumoto, Rinov/Pitha quickly won two games 21-9 and 21-16 in 27 minutes.
Appearing at Westenergie Sporthalle, Germany, Thursday 10 March 2022, Rinov / Pitha immediately appeared pressing at the beginning of the match. However, Yuki/Misaki can put up a fight.
Tight game displayed both pairs up to 4-4 points. However, Yuki/Misaki’s performance slowly declined.
Rinov / Pitha used that moment to gain consecutive points. Nine consecutive points were recorded so that they led 18-7. Then, they ended the first game 21-9.
Yuki/Misaki try to take advantage of the second game to avenge the defeat in the first game. They had a 3-1 lead before being rewarded for six consecutive points by Rinov/Pitha and led 7-3.
Then, Rinov / Pitha went crazy until they were 11-5 ahead in the second interval. After the break, Yuki/Misaki slowly caught up to the difference in points. But, until the end, Rinov / Pitha continued to excel and ended this fight 21-16.
