Find X5 is one of the newest premium phones launched by OPPO. Just like the Pro model, it also comes with the MariSilicon X image processor.

Apart from the premium Find X5 Pro, OPPO has also announced the Find X5 phone with a camera setup that is almost similar to the Pro model. The OPPO Find X5 is expected to go on sale on March 14 and is priced at 999 euros (Rp 16 million) in Europe. Just like the Pro model, it is available in one option only at 8GB + 256GB.

The OPPO Find X5 is powered by last year’s Snapdragon 888 chipset which is not as powerful as the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset on the Find X5 Pro. OPPO still retains the custom 6nm MariSilicon X image processing chip on the Find X5 as well as the Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration feature.

Reported from Gizmochina (25/2), that processor is paired with 8 GB of RAM while there is 256 GB of internal storage on the phone. Find X5 has the latest ColorOS 12.1 interface based on the Android 12 operating system, just like the Pro model. ColorOS 12.1 brings several improvements in security, aesthetics and privacy compared to ColorOS 12. The operating system also includes the new Multi-Screen Connect feature, which allows users to switch between their phone and Windows PC.

The OPPO Find X5 phone model packs a 6.55-inch OLED screen which is slightly smaller than the Pro variant. It also has a lower resolution on Full HD+. Although the screen does not carry LTPO panel technology, it comes with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

For photography, the Find X5 packs an almost identical configuration to the Find X5 Pro, including two Sony IMX766 wide and ultra-wide cameras. The wide-lens camera is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is regular, not 5-way like on the Pro model. The device also packs a 13 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. For selfiethere is a 32 MP camera using the Sony IMX615 sensor.

The battery capacity of the Find X5 is 4,800 mAh and there is also support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging like the Find X5 Pro. The phone also comes with 30W AirVOOC wireless charging which is slightly lower than the 50W wireless charging on the X5 Pro.

While the Snapdragon 888 chipset doesn’t have the same heating issues as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, OPPO equips the Find X5 with a multi-tier cooling system like the Find X5 Pro including an extra large vapor chamber. No IP certification for dust and water protection.
