OPPO, one of China’s largest smartphone manufacturers, has just launched the flagship smartphones Find X5 Pro and Find X5. At this launch event, OPPO also unveiled the successor to their premium TWS earbuds dubbed OPPO Enco X2. The new flagship earbuds come with many improvements over their predecessors.

The new top-of-the-line Enco X2 features a dual driver setup with 11mm dynamic drivers paired with 6mm planar diaphragm drivers. With a dual driver design, these TWS earbuds ensure users never miss a low or high note even when playing music with strong bass.

OPPO also equipped the Enco X2 with Bluetooth 5.2. Meanwhile, the LHDC 4.0 transmission protocol that allows TWS has code rate support of up to 900kbps. Apart from that, the OPPO Enco X2 also offers support for the regular AAC and SBC audio codecs.

Furthermore, OPPO also said that the new TWS has a 38 dBV/Pa microphone setup that offers multiple levels of noise cancellation, including Smart Noise Cancellation, Max Noise Cancellation, Moderate Noise Cancellation, Mild Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Vocal Enhancement.

Meanwhile, the three microphones embedded by OPPO into the Enco X2 use Bone Voiceprint AI to reduce noise when this device is used for phone calls. OPPO also claims that the Enco X2 can be used to listen to music for up to 9.5 hours on a single charge without noise cancellation.

Its use can also be extended up to 40 hours with the charging case. With maximum noise cancellation and 50% volume level, the Enco X2 can be used for up to 5.5 hours of music listening, on a single charge and 22 hours with the charging case.

OPPO Enco X2 can provide up to 2 hours of music playback with just 5 minutes of charging time. These earbuds are also claimed to only take 1 hour to fully charge, and the case is claimed to take 90 minutes to fully charge.

The device can be charged via the USB Type-C port or wirelessly, as the OPPO Enco X2 supports Qi wireless charging. In addition, these wireless earbuds can also be recharged with a smartphone by simply placing it behind one that supports reverse charging.

OPPO Enco X2 comes with water and dust resistance thanks to IP54 certification. Its own weight is 56.4 grams. Each earbud individually weighs just 4.7 grams. OPPO has announced that the Enco X2 will debut in Black and White color variants, offered at a price of €199 (Rp3 million).
