OnePlus is all set to launch its next-generation flagship smartphone, dubbed the OnePlus 10 Pro. Yes! The smartphone will be officially launched on January 11 in its home country, China. OnePlus will also be taking pre-orders for the device.
Ahead of its official launch, a lot of details have leaked online and OnePlus itself has shared some of the key features through posters that went viral online. Now, OnePlus is back with more details, especially regarding the screen of the OnePlus 10 Pro.
A new teaser confirms that the OnePlus 10 Pro will come with a Samsung LTPO 2.0 display that offers 2K+ resolution and a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, this smartphone is also touted as the first in the world to come with an Always-on 1Hz screen.
As the name suggests, in the Always-On Display feature, the device screen remains active during sleep mode. This will make it easier for users to check the time as well as some other important information and notifications without having to unlock the device.
Recently, OnePlus also teased again by revealing the front design of the OnePlus 10 Pro. We can see together, the teaser shows that the OnePlus 10 Pro has very thin bezels, rounded corners and there is a punch-hole in the upper left corner of the screen.
OnePlus has previously confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will come as the first smartphone to be pre-installed with OPPO’s latest ColorOS 12.1 in the Chinese market. This smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and pack a 5,000 mAh battery.
In addition to having 80W SuperVOOC wired charging support, OnePlus is also said to be equipping the OnePlus 10 Pro with 50W AirVOOC wireless charging support, and what’s no less interesting is wireless reverse charging whose power we don’t know yet.
As for the camera department, the smartphone will have a second-generation Hasselblad camera module on the back panel, consisting of a 48 MP lens, a 50 MP sensor, and an 8 MP sensor for a triple camera setup. On the front side, it will be equipped with a 32 MP selfie camera.
