VIVA – The organizers of the 2022 Proliga were forced to postpone another match due to COVID-19, this time a match for the seventh round of the second round between Kudus Sukun Badak and Jakarta BNI 46.

Deputy Director of Proliga, Reginald Nelwan said, the match which was originally scheduled to take place at the General Kunarto Volleyball Padepokan, Sentul, Bogor, West Java, Saturday, February 26, 2022, had to be rescheduled because 14 of the Breadfruit Badak players were exposed to the corona virus.

This is in accordance with the agreement between the organizers and all teams when entering the second round, namely a team with more than 50 percent of the players exposed to COVID-19, then the match will be rescheduled.

In addition, the organizers of the 2022 Proliga must also re-arrange the schedule for the match between Kudus Sukun Badak and Jakarta Pertamina Pertamax. The postponed match which was supposed to be held on Monday (28 February 2022) was also confirmed to be cancelled.

The postponement for the Breadfruit Badak versus Pertamina Pertamax match is the second time it has been delayed from the initial schedule, namely Sunday (13/2). “Because many were exposed to the Kudus Sukun Badak, the match was postponed,” Reginald said in a written statement, Friday, February 25, 2022.
