In the past few weeks there have been rumors that Samsung will introduce its premium flagship smartphone line, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series at an event titled Unpacked in February this year. This was also emphasized by the top brass, TM Roh.
Unfortunately, the affirmation conveyed by the Spirit also did not at all mention the date of the event. He only said that in February we will together see a series of sophistication from the latest Galaxy S series developed by Samsung.
Now! After becoming a very interesting rumor, Samsung has officially announced the next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on February 9, 2022. The invitation poster circulating on the internet also hints that the South Korean electronics giant is ready to launch the next generation Galaxy S22 series.
In the invitation that has been distributed by Samsung shows the letter “S” in pink in the box. This is quite reasonable and confirms that Samsung is indeed ready to officially announce the Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup.
The event will kick off at 10 a.m. ET (7 a.m. PT or 2 p.m. GMT) and similar to Samsung’s previously held events, this one will also be broadcast live. Although the device has not yet been unveiled, Samsung has already started making reservations for those who are interested in having it.
However, to know more about the premium flagship smartphone, including full specifications, features, memory variants, prices, and availability details, we will have to wait for its official launch next month. So, you can be a little patient.
Samsung is expected to unveil three models in this new series – the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is touted as an alternative to the Galaxy Note and will come with S Pen stylus support as well as a place to store it on the device itself.
No one doubts that Samsung will load the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 into the Galaxy S22 series, it all depends on the availability area. Pricing for the device has leaked online and is reported to be starting at $899 in the United States.
The Galaxy S22 series is not the only product that Samsung will launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The reason is, not a few hope that Samsung will also announce the Galaxy Tab S8 line, which reportedly also has three models.
