VIVA – Assistant coach of the Indonesian Basketball National Team, Wahyu Widayat Jati, revealed a number of obstacles faced by Andakara Prastawa cs ahead of facing Saudi Arabia and Jordan in the 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifications Group C Asia Zone.

“The problem is the player’s fitness because some players have just recovered from COVID-19 and the rest are mostly not training intensively because of the impact of COVID-19,” Wahyu was quoted as saying by Perbasi’s official website.
Nevertheless, Wahyu said that there had been progress regarding the chemistry between the players. They also understand the game system that the coach wants. That is, strategically there is no problem.
