Tiemoue Bakayoko is unlikely to be made permanent by AC Milan after being deemed unsatisfactory on loan from Chelsea.

INDOSPORT.COM – AC Milan can actually still have Tiemoue Bakayoko until June 2023 on a two-year loan contract from Chelsea. However, in the 2022 summer transfer market there will be a discourse to end the collaboration after the player is considered to have failed to meet the expectations placed on him.

According to sources Calciomercato, Tiemoue Bakayoko was brought in by AC Milan as a rental player for the second time in the 2021 summer transfer market in anticipation of the upcoming African Cup of Nations. The reason is that their two senior midfielders, Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie, will certainly have to participate.

Milan made this decision by reflecting on Bakayoko’s appearance at the San Siro during the first period of his loan in 2018/2019 ago. At that time the French legion was able to become the backbone of the team by playing 42 times in all competitions with the contribution of one goal and an assist.

It’s just that this time Bakayoko can’t really be trusted at all. Halfway through the season, the 27-year-old has only played 17 times without a goal or assist and only five of them have started.

Bakayoko lost to Kessie and Bennacer. Especially with Sandro Tonali who is increasingly mature incarnated as the dynamo of AC Milan’s game from the second line.

In addition, Bakayoko has also suffered two serious injuries so far. The former AS Monaco and Napoli is currently undergoing treatment for a problem in the abductor muscle after being sidelined for more than a month in mid-September 2021 due to a similar problem.
