Netflix Releases Unique and Action-packed Cowboy Bebop Trailer

In order to welcome the release of the live-action series Cowboy Bebop on November 19, 2021, parties Netflix released a unique trailer that showcases the story style and cool visuals of the series. The trailer also gives a preview to some of the action sequences while also highlighting the fun and dynamic chemistry between Spike, Jet Black and Faye Valentine.

Trailer titled “Cowboy Bebop: The Lost Session” It shows the trio consisting of Spike Spiegel, played by John Cho, Jet Black, played by Mustafa Shakir, and Faye Valentine, played by Daniella Pineda, on a mission to hunt down a fugitive with a bounty. This short trailer is a standalone adventure made up of completely unique scenes and trailers that won’t be included in the upcoming series, but provides a glimpse into the dynamics of the actors bringing to life their iconic roles as well as seeing their interactions.

Project Cowboy Bebop this was spearheaded by the series’ showrunner, André Nemec, who said they would not only honor the anime, but also delve deeper into their history and provide fans with more than just adapted rehashes of old material.

While the official synopsis for this live-action series is:

“Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed series about three bounty hunters, aka “Cowboy,” who all try to run from their respective pasts. Though different and deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) can form a crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But even if they were able to get rid of various intrigues and obstacles, it was only a matter of time before their past finally caught up with them.”

Based on the famous 90s anime series from director Shinichirō Watanabe, Netflix’s new live-action series will feature John Cho as Spike Spiegel, a bounty hunter aboard the spaceship Bebop. His crew consists of Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), a former police officer, and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda), an amnesiac con artist. Together, they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals as they try to escape from their own past.

In addition, this series will also feature Alex Hassell (Suburbicon) as Vicious, and Elena Satine (Revenge) as Julia. The 10-episode live-action series will be directed by Michael Katleman and Alex Garcia Lopez with Christopher Yost (Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok) and Javier Grillo-Marxuach writing the script.
