Netflix Releases Final Trailer for Arcane, Series Adaptation of League of Legends

A new trailer for the animated series Arcane launched by Netflix. The final trailer takes us into the saga of Piltover and his “seedy” underworld known as Zaun. With an all-star cast, impressive animated visuals and a story that promises to dive deeper into the world League of Legendsthis series is one animation that is sure to get viewers excited.

With the first part scheduled for release on November 6th, the trailer also manages to tease the story of two brothers, Vi and Jinx as they are separated as little kids in Zaun, where danger lurks around every corner. Apart from that, they also give us an overview of Powder’s quest and the two’s attempts to find each other in the midst of this world. There’s also great action scenes, fun animation, and a world reminiscent of Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner. The second part will premiere on November 13 and the third part will premiere on November 20.

Arcane is Riot Games’ first television series and will premiere on Netflix. The previously released photos and clips showcase their unique and stunning animation style and bring a new look at the franchise’s popular characters, namely Jinx and Vi.

While the Arcane voice actors are Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) and Ella Purnell (Army of the Dead), who lent their voices to characters Vi and Jinx. Joining the duo are Kevin Alejandro (Lucifer) as Jayce, Katie Leung (Harry Potter) as Caitlyn, Jason Spisak (Young Justice) as Silco, Toks Olagundoye (Castlevania) as Mel, JB Blanc (Dota: Dragon’s Blood) as Vander, and Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones) as Viktor.

According to the official statement, Arcane Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the arid dungeons of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions—and the forces that will destroy them. Christian Linke of Riot Games serves as showrunner and co-creator of the series alongside Alex Yee. Linke and Yee revealed that they had been working on the project for 10 years, and that the story would revolve around brothers Vi and Jinx. Indeed, the two sisters have chosen paths that seem diametrically opposed and have since become fierce rivals in the larger context, so the revealed family dynamics are sure to be an interesting source of conflict to build on the series’ main storyline.

Arcane which is lifted from the game franchise League of Legends this seems to add to the long list of video game adaptation series owned by Netflix. As we know, they have had Castlevania which will soon enter its third season as well DOTA: Dragon’s Blood as well as anime series from Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness which was just released some time ago.
