Mi Smart Band from Xiaomi is one of the most affordable and popular fitness trackers sold in many countries, including Indonesia. Currently, Xiaomi offers Mi Smart Band 6 which was released almost a year ago. In Indonesia, this smartband is sold at a price of Rp. 599,000.

However, the next generation tracker from Xiaomi may be on the “horizon” as leaks have started to appear on the internet. According to a recent report by XDA Developers, some of the first features of the fitness tracking device dubbed Mi Smart Band 7 have been discovered via code in Xiaomi’s own app.

These codes indicate that the Mi Smart Band 7 will be codenamed “L66” and will have the model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1. It is also said that this smartband will have a screen with a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels and have Always On Display support.

Not only that, from a number of existing codes, Mi Smart Band 7 is also said to have various training modes, from Aerobics to Zumba. The leak also reveals that this smartband could feature built-in GPS support, but the inclusion of this feature is doubtful.

Further, the code also reveals that the Mi Smart Band 7 will include a Smart Alarm feature. This feature will automatically wake the user from a light sleep 30 minutes before the preset alarm. And last but not least, this smartband will also come with a Power Saving mode.

Unfortunately, until now, Xiaomi has not spoken about the new smartband. However, considering that the Mi Smart Band 6 debuted at the end of March 2021, not a few believe that the Mi Smart Band 7 will launch at the end of March this year. So, we hope there will be more leaks about this smartband.
