Warner Bros. finally presents a new promo from the movie The Batman – and the promo in the form of an action-packed trailer promises an appearance Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight who is darker and looks very promising. The trailer was revealed as part of this year’s DC FanDome event. This annual event uncovers tons of news, announcements, and other fun surprises from fan-favorite movies, TV shows, video games, and more in the DC universe.
This trailer introduces us to the serial killer who will become one of Batman’s greatest foes in the upcoming film — the Riddler, played by Paul Dano. When the Gotham villain is caught at a local restaurant by Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) and his partners, they turn out to be a more dangerous foe for Batman. We are also introduced to more of the figure of Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, played by Zoë Kravitz.
In addition, the trailer also features Colin Farrell’s activities as Penguin, which also seems to be causing chaos in Gotham City. We also get a glimpse of Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
The Batman is a story set with Bruce Wayne who has entered the second year of his “career” as Batman. This will later reveal a dark secret about his parents, Bruce is also forced to confront the corruption that is taking place in the shadows of his city, all the while trying to catch The Riddler before he kills again.
Along with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, this film also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jeffery Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Barry Keoghan as Gotham police officer Stanley Merkel, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, and Alex Ferns as Commissioner Pete Savage, as well as Gil Perez-Abraham, Charlie and Max Carver, Rupert Penry-Jones, and Con O’Neill.
