The latest 14-inch convertible laptops with Windows 11 are powered by up to a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1260P processor combined with Intel Iris® Xe graphics. More than just a laptop with multiple modes, the Yoga 9i can switch from tablet mode to laptop mode. In addition, this premium laptop also provides an enhanced audio experience with new speakers that are better than the previous generation.
Watch movies or listen to music with authentic audio thanks to the Bowers & Wilkins® Rotating Sound Bar quad speakers. It consists of two woofers and two tweeters on the top and sides for a better frequency response range that enhances the bass effect.
You can also enjoy the charm of the OLED IPS touchscreen up to 4K with thin bezels and VESA® DisplayHDR™ 500 True Black certification for 100 percent DCI-P3 color accuracy. The laptop also supports Dolby Vision® HDR, which delivers incredible ultravivid image quality along with immersive Dolby Atmos® sound.
It comes in a 16:10 format for less scrolling and a 60Hz refresh rate for everyday computing. The TÜV Low Blue Light certification also confirms that this laptop is specially calibrated to help reduce eye strain.
The Yoga 9i is undergoing its most significant update yet. To keep up with today’s hybrid learning and work lifestyles, this convertible laptop also features productivity innovations, namely you can open the laptop with just one hand, and an edge-to-edge keyboard design layout that features new keys.
Function Keys with five additional shortcut keys marked with easy-to-use icons for quick access to frequently used features, such as:
- A shortcut to switch to Smart Power performance mode which allows for higher performance or longer battery life depending on what you’re doing – without pressing the Fn+Q keys found in previous generations. Just look for the performance icon to activate Smart Power which optimizes system battery life and cooler thermals with up to 28W TDP and 75Whr battery.
- The intelligent Background Blur function instantly helps protect the privacy of the surrounding environment on video calls via Microsoft Teams or other collaboration platforms with just one click; to display your image and clear/unblurred background, just press the button again.
- The sound bar attached to the 360 degree hinge on the Yoga 9i has a unique design that inspired Lenovo to add a function button that changes Audio mode smarter called Vibe Check, this button helps users better understand the differences between audio profiles depending on the activity being performed. Vibe Check has a music mode, game mode or movie mode for greater sound effects.
- In addition to Smart Sense lighting which automatically adjusts the backlight on the keyboard based on ambient light, there is also a color mode button that makes it easy for users to switch the system display between dark mode and light mode via the native color setting feature in Windows. As well as being good for the eyes, enabling dark mode for OLED screens has the potential to help conserve battery life, and is especially useful in low-light environments.
- In the same button column, you will find a Fingerprint reader here which is usually found in the palm rest area. The laptop also has a FHD infrared (IR) camera with an electronic privacy shutter, plus a convenient smart login with sensors to detect someone’s presence and enable log-off when they’re gone and log-in once they’re back on their device.
