VIVA – Prabowo Subianto was inaugurated and inaugurated as General Chair of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (PB IPSI) for the 2021-2025 term.
Prabowo Subianto was inaugurated and inaugurated directly by the Chairman of the Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) Marciano Norman at the Indonesian Pencak Silat Padepokan, Jakarta, Monday 31 January 2022.
Menpora Zainudin Amali was also present at the inauguration. Menpora expressed his hope after Prabowo returned to being the number one person in Indonesian pencak silat.
“The government congratulates Mr. Prabowo Subianto for being willing to lead PB IPSI again for the 2021-2025 term of service,” said Menpora Amali.
On this occasion, Amali told about his worries during the PB IPSI national meeting which was held recently. This is because the tenure of Prabowo Subianto’s leadership period will end at PB IPSI.
“However, my concern was answered after Mr. Prabowo was willing to lead PB IPSI again until 2025. The government is ready to provide support for the development of silat achievements,” said Amali.
Furthermore, Amali said that pencak silat is one of the leading sports in the Great Design of National Sports (DBON).
