VIVA – The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly officially awarded Stanley Johnson a regular contract. He got a two-year contract plus team options.
Before officially filling the 15th player slot in Frank Vogel’s team, Johnson had time to get a short-term contract within 3×10 days. This was done by the Lakers because of the shortage of players due to the COVID-19 storm.
During that time, Johnson put in a splendid performance that made the Lakers smitten to tie him up on a regular basis.
Johnson is a player who often plays on the flanks with a very energetic defensive style. And that’s what the Lakers need.
The 25-year-old Small Forward is very useful in helping the defense. Therefore, it is not strange to see that the points are not too many even though they have been down for 21 minutes in 14 matches.
