However, within 24 hours of being officially introduced to the public, NMIXX was caught in a plagiarism scandal so that not a few netizens criticized JYP Entertainment. Lily cs was accused of plagiarizing the concept of a video clip from one of the boy bands released in 2019. Read more through the following review.

Bringing the debut song titled OO, NMIXX is in the spotlight for showing outstanding talent and appearance, as well as the stunning visuals of the seven members.
But not long after the video clip OO officially released, netizens found an oddity, namely the resemblance to ATEEZ’s video clip in the song Illusion which was shared in June 2019.
Video clip Illusion courtesy of ATEEZ uses a pirate themed background above the clouds. This is also found in the video clip OO, and seems to use a similar concept.
