The first trailer of the animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 4 finally released by Netflix who re-worked with DreamWorks Animation. The trailer highlights the introduction of a new island that will be the setting for the series’ protagonists. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weeklyshowrunner Scott Kreamer has confirmed that the mysterious island is indeed a novelty in the world of Jurassic World.
The trailer features young survivors as their seemingly successful escape attempt from Isla Nublar turns into total disaster when their boat is attacked by a Mosasaurus. Because of this, they find themselves trapped on an even stranger island, where they must go back to trying to survive the dinosaurs and find their way home.
If we mention the dinosaurs, we can see Tyranasouras Rex or T-Rex which is quite “familiar” with children. But, that’s not all, we also see them being chased by Spinosaurus, a dinosaur new to Camp Cretaceous but already present in Camp Cretaceous. Jurassic Park III. But as a surprise, this season will feature more than just dinosaurs threatening kids. In this trailer we also see the kids have to face off against robots and Sabertooth! 4th season Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will be released on Netflix on December 3.
The series is produced by Amblin Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and Dreamworks Animation. The series is also produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall as well as Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley who are the showrunners of this animation project. Kreamer and Hammersley previously worked together on Nickelodeon’s animated series, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. The voice cast for the series are Paul-Mikél Williams (Westworld) as dinosaur expert Darius; Jenna Ortega (You) as Brooklyn; Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6: The Series) as Kenji; Raini Rodriguez (Bunk’d) as the gregarious and enthusiastic Sammy; Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) as the sensitive and geeky Ben; and Kausar Mohammed (Silicon Valley) as world class athlete Yaz. Jameela Jamil (Legendary) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick) as camp advisers to Roxie and Dave.
