Jonathan Christie Negative COVID-19, Ready to Fight at All England 2022

VIVA – Good news has come for the Indonesian squad ahead of the All England 2022. The strength of the Red and White team has increased after Jonathan Christie was declared negative for COVID-19.

The badminton player who is familiarly called Jojo was previously tested positive for COVID-19 when he appeared at the BWF World Tour Super 300 German Open 2022. However, he lost in the round of 16.

Luckily, he has now tested negative. And the information was first announced through PBSI’s official social media, both Instagram and Twitter.

“Jonatan Christie, who was previously confirmed positive for Covid-19, was finally declared negative after undergoing two PCR tests on Saturday (12/3) and Sunday (13/3) yesterday,” said PBSI’s statement through its official Instagram account.

“Jojo and the team have now departed for England from Germany. Upon arrival in England, the team will again undergo a Covid-19 test,” the statement continued.

The All England 2022 will take place from March 16-20 at Birmingham’s Utility Arena. A number of Red and White squads arrived in England on Friday, March 11th.
