After the success of Hospital Playlist, Jeon Mi Do will return to the rich screen by starring in the Korean drama Thirty-Nine. He will compete with two other top actresses, Son Ye Jin and Kim Ji Hyun.
Thirty-Nine is a Korean drama that explores the friendship, love, and life of three friends who will turn 40 years old. Ahead of its broadcast, this drama also released its first trailer which shows a glimpse of the joys and sorrows of the friendship of three women.
Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin), Jeong Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do), and Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun) met by chance in high school. The three of them became three inseparable friends.
Now, Cha Mi Jo works as a dermatologist, while Jeong Chan Young works as an acting coach. On the other hand, Jang Joo Hee is a woman who works as a cosmetics sales manager.

One day, when they were 39 years old, life took a turn for the worse. Cha Mi Jo, Jeong Chan Young, and Jang Joo Hee also prepare to separate.
Thirty-Nine will be aired for 12 episodes. This drama was written by Yoo Young A, who previously had success through the films On Your Wedding Day to Kim Ji Young: Born 1982 and the Korean drama Encounter.
In addition to the three main characters, Thirty-Nine will also star Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Tae Hwan.
Thirty-Nine airs twice a week every Wednesday and Thursday on JTBC. This drama can also be watched on Netflix starting February 16, 2022. Stay tuned for it!
