Just like all the other iPhones launched in recent years, Apple has a charger in the box for the iPhone SE 3 (2022).
Apple has just launched the iPhone SE 3 (2022) at the Peek Performance event which was held in the early hours of the morning (9/3). There are several improvements from its predecessor, but the design still adopts the iPhone 8 with a 4.7-inch screen size and the iconic Touch ID as the physical home button.
Apart from the latest chipset used, namely the A15 which supports 5G, fans are wondering if this SE version is equipped with a charging adapter? The answer is no.
Just like all the other iPhones launched in recent years, Apple has a charger in the box for the iPhone SE 3 (2022). Even the most expensive models are not equipped with these accessories.
This trend began with the iPhone 12 and will continue to be carried out by the company forever, as reported by Tek.id from Know Your Mobile (9/3). In addition to the charger, the Apple EarBuds in the box are also missing.
The reason Apple decided to take this step was to reduce waste. Apple’s logic, by including a plastic power adapter in every iPhone, to which the company ships many iPhones every day, creates millions of tons of waste every year.
But by not putting chargers in the box for the past few years, Apple has reduced the raw materials for each iPhone by millions of tons. And it’s good for the environment.
To note, Apple offers the iPhone SE 3 (2022) starting at USD 429 or around Rp. 6.1 million, slightly more expensive than its predecessor, which is offered starting at USD 399 or around Rp.
