Apple has an affordable iPhone series that comes in the form of the iPhone SE. Now, Apple is getting ready to launch the third generation model of the iPhone SE. Ahead of the official launch of the device, some details have been leaked online.

Now, a recent report claims that the new Apple iPhone SE, which is said to come with support for 5G connectivity, will make its official appearance in March or April this year at an event to be hosted by Apple.

According to a report from Mark Gurman in the Power On newsletter for Bloomberg, Apple is expected to host the first major event of the year, which will be sometime in March or April. Similar to some of the previous events, this one will also take place virtually.

Reports suggest that the upcoming iPhone SE will likely launch at an Apple event and will likely be the focus of its main event. Apple has a track record of launching new products at events held in March or April, so those events are very likely to happen.

Based on previous leaks and reports, the iPhone SE 2022 will be similar to the currently available models in terms of design, but will come with better specs. This smartphone will look like the iPhone 8, but will have improvements in terms of embedded innards.

It is said that this smartphone will come with a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD screen and will also feature a Home button with an embedded fingerprint sensor. This will likely be the last Apple smartphone to come with an LCD display panel and a Home button.

Not a few believe that Apple will embed the Apple A15 chipset with 3 GB of RAM, there may also be a Plus variant that will pack 4 GB of RAM. The chipset also brings support for 5G connectivity into the device. There will still be a single 12 MP camera sensor on the back with enhanced photography features.

A recent estimate from JP Morgan claims that the upcoming iPhone SE is expected to attract nearly 1.4 billion lower-midrange Android smartphone users as well as around 300 million users of older iPhone models. So, let’s just wait for the presence of the iPhone SE 2022! What do you think?
