It’s no secret that Apple launched the iPhone at a high price, except for the iPhone SE. Now, Apple has officially presented the third generation iPhone SE, two years after the second generation was introduced in 2020.

One thing you should know, this iPhone SE (2022) looks basically the same on the outside, which carries the design of the iPhone 6 from 2014. But what about the inside? Now! For those of you who are curious about the smartphone, let’s dig together.

Starting with the embedded chipset, Apple supplies this iPhone SE (2022) with the Apple A15. This is the same chipset that Apple loaded into the iPhone 13 series. Meanwhile, the storage options remain the same, starting from 64 GB, 128 GB and the highest is 256 GB.

The screen still measures 4.7 inches diagonally, though the large bezels above and below make it larger than the iPhone mini. However, this generation gets the “toughest glass on a smartphone” (Ceramic Shield) to increase its durability.

In addition, there is a Touch ID fingerprint reader under the display, so users of this device don’t have to worry about Face ID being tapped using a mask. The camera has also been upgraded, though mostly aided by computational photography.

iPhone SE (2022) still has a 12 MP single lens unit without sensor-shift image stabilization support like the 13 series. However, this Cupertino, United States-based tech giant is arming this iPhone SE (2022) with support for Smart HDR 4, Photo Style , and Deep Fusion.

There’s no doubt that the new SE supports 5G. Apple still sells iPhone 11 models, so they still offer devices that have 4G support. Yes! Apple has indeed dared to step up to market all of its newest models with 5G support.

One other thing you should know if you are interested in the iPhone SE (2022), this smartphone is already running with the latest iOS. Apple markets the iPhone SE (2022) starting at US $ 429 or equivalent to Rp. 6 million for the 64 GB model and pre-orders starting March 11, 2022.

Shipments began March 18 in the first batch of 30 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, the UK and the US. So, when will the iPhone SE (2022) officially enter Indonesia? Let’s just wait.
