Priced from IDR 6.1 million, the iPhone SE 2022 comes with the A15 Bionic and 5G SoC, but still uses Touch ID.

Apple officially announced the presence of the latest generation of the iPhone SE line at an event titled “Peek Performance” which was held some time ago. As in various previous leaks, Apple has brought quite a number of updates on their cheap smartphone on this one.

As expected, the iPhone SE 2022 will come with their latest SoC, the A15 Bionic. Yes, this SoC is the SoC used in their iPhone 13 Series devices, which is the fastest SoC on the market today.

They will still use a configuration of 6 CPU cores with 4 GPU Cores coupled with 16 Neural Engine cores. This combination makes this mini-sized smartphone the fastest in its class.

For the screen, they use a 4.7-inch Retina Display screen. Not to forget, they also use the glass protection from the iPhone 13 on the iPhone SE 2022, which protects the screen and the back.

Not to forget, the Cupertino-based company will also provide some other support, namely 5G network support on this smartphone. IP67 protection is also present in this device.

Another improvement given by Apple in the iPhone SE 2022 is the main camera. They use a 12MP camera which has better capabilities than its predecessor.

Unfortunately, users still won’t get Face ID on this one device, because Apple is still using Touch ID. However, on the other hand users will get iOS 15 support as well as better battery life.

And most importantly the price, which is very attractive. With quite a lot of upgrades, Apple offers this device starting at USD429 or around Rp.

For Apple fans in the US, they can already start pre-orders starting from March 11 tomorrow, and the first sale will take place on March 18 next.
