ASUS announced the latest line of products and technological innovations at the 2022 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) which was held in Las Vegas, United States. In a virtual event titled Incredible Unfolds, ASUS reaffirmed its position as a technology company that puts forward innovation through various innovative products.
Yes! Some of the innovative products showcased by ASUS such as the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED and the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition. In addition to these innovative products, ASUS also introduced the Zenbook 14 OLED for the consumer line, the Chromebook Flip CX5 and ExpertBook B5 for the enterprise line, as well as the new TUF Gaming F15 and TUF Dash F15.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702)
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is the world’s first foldable laptop with a 17.3-inch OLED screen. This laptop is the result of a collaboration between ASUS and the BOE Technology Group. Zenbook 17 Fold OLED sports a large OLED screen that can be folded and transformed into two 12.5-inch displays with a resolution of 1920×1280 (3:2).
Combined with the ASUS ErgoSense wireless keyboard and touchpad, the foldable screen design carried by the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED makes it appear flexible and has various usage modes ranging from PC, Laptop, Tablet, On-Screen Keyboard, Book and Extend modes.
The Zenbook 17 Fold’s OLED screen isn’t just foldable. The ASUS OLED screen also has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, supports Dolby Vision HDR technology, and has received PANTONE Validated Display certification for color accuracy and eye-care from TÜV Rheinland.
Accompanying the screen is a special audio system with a Harman Kardon certified quad-speaker configuration and supports Dolby Atmos technology. ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is also equipped with a sophisticated and smart camera system.
The IR HD camera module on this laptop allows the system to detect the user’s presence as well as a security tool that is integrated with Windows Hello. The main camera module is a 5MP sensor that has been equipped with ASUS 3D Noise Canceling technology for clearer shots even in low light conditions.
ASUS also embeds a special sensor to read the color and temperature conditions around the user. Data from these sensors is used to adjust the main camera captures so that users will always get the best results.
Despite carrying a large screen, Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is still designed to prioritize portability and convenience of use. Besides being equipped with the latest generation of integrated CPU and GPU from Intel, this laptop is also equipped with two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports which also support the USB power delivery feature of up to 75W.
In collaboration with Intel, the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is specially designed and appears as one of the Intel EVO laptops so that its performance, portability, battery life, and user experience have been tested very well.
