In the last few weeks, rumors about the HUAWEI nova 9 SE have been very strong. In fact, the teaser about the smartphone has been shared by Huawei itself via its Twitter account, although the specifications are still closed so tightly.

Now, the same smartphone is being shared by Huawei again and the Chinese tech giant has also confirmed the launch date of the HUAWEI nova 9 SE. It is stated that the nova 9 SE will launch globally for the first time in Malaysia.

So, when will the smartphone be launched in Malaysia? It is stated that the nova 9 SE will launch on March 11, 2022, at 15:00 MYT. Huawei has also promised that it will broadcast its launch event live through its social media channels.

Let’s take a look at the nova 9 SE design offered by Huawei. We can see, this smartphone does have similarities with its more premium siblings such as the nova 9 and the Huawei P50 series. This smartphone also comes with a dual camera “ring” arrangement on the curved back.

Meanwhile, on the front, this smartphone also carries a punch-hole screen and has a size of 6.78 inches. The bezel of this smartphone is also very thin, estimated to have a size of only 1.05 mm. Whether the screen is IPS or AMOLED, as well as what refresh rate it has, we can only find out on March 11.

According to information from the Huawei website in Malaysia, this smartphone is written to be equipped with the new 6nm chipset from Qualcomm. However, it does not carry 5G technology. Not a few believe that most likely the chipset is Snapdragon 680, which will be found in the Redmi Note 11 (Global).

Another feature of the HUAWEI nova 9 SE is the camera support. The nova 9 SE will have a 108 MP camera, which Huawei claims will bring “high resolution” photography for those who want to experience more creative vlogging on the go.

This smartphone will also be equipped with HUAWEI 66W Supercharge, which is claimed to be able to recharge the device’s battery in just 30 minutes. Regarding color, the HUAWEI nova 9 SE will come in three stunning colors, namely Crystal Blue, Midnight Black, Pearl White.

In Malaysia, Huawei is currently running an “Early Bird Campaign”, where interested buyers can book a place by paying a non-refundable deposit of RM 20 (Rp. 70 thousand) for 1 unit of nova 9 SE on the official website.

The deposit is offered to consumers to participate in lucky draws with Huawei vouchers worth RM 3,442 (Rp 11 million). After the campaign ends, consumers can complete balance payments from March 11 to March 18, 2022.
