VIVA – The Executive Board (PB) of Esports Indonesia held a National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas). General Chairperson of PB Esports Indonesia, Police General (Purn) Budi Gunawan wants Esports to help economic growth.
“For the next 1 year and 5 years, PBESI will become an organization that we can truly be proud of, being the best sports organization from other sports,” said Budi Gunawan at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, Banten, Saturday. March 5, 2022.
“And most importantly, it also helps economic growth and creates jobs,” he continued.
In addition, Budi Gunawan also challenged PBESI management to develop the esports ecosystem in Indonesia. Especially in creating games that are internationally competitive.
PB Esports Indonesia National Coordination Meeting
“So that domestic esports products can dominate our domestic market. Don’t be like the current game is dominated by games from abroad. Can we?” said Budi Gunawan.
The National Coordination Meeting for PB Esports Indonesia will be held on March 4-6 2022. The National Coordination Meeting is attended by all Indonesian Esports management at the central, provincial and district/city levels.
