Here are the Release Dates of the Second Season of the Bridgerton Series

After presenting the first season of the series Bridgerton which was very successful in December last year, now Netflix has just revealed that the second season of the series is ready for release next year. Bridgerton Season 2 will now start streaming on March 25, 2022.

In keeping with the tradition of the novel, the second season Bridgerton will tell the romantic story of Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s search for love, played by Jonathan Bailey who is the eldest son of the Bridgerton family and the Viscount. Driven by his duty to raise the family name, Anthony’s search for a partner who meets his standards doesn’t seem quite successful until Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India. As Anthony begins to approach Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions—matchmaking and true love are not on her priority list. He decided to make efforts to stop the matchmaking. But in doing so, Kate and Anthony have become closer, complicating matters on both sides. Meanwhile in Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome their newest heir while Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to keep her deepest secrets from those closest to her.

Although this series is no longer starring Regé-Jean Page, some of the old cast will return such as Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley), Harriet Cains (Philipa Featherington), Bessie Carter (Prudence Featherington), Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Basset), Ruth Gemmell (Violet), Florence Hunt (Hyacin), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Luke Newton (Colin), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Luke Thompson (Benedict), Will Tilston (Gregory Bridgerton), Polly Walker (Portia Featherington ) ), and Julie Andrews (Lady Whistledown). Meanwhile, the new cast for the second season consists of Shelley Conn (Mary Sharma), Calam Lynch (Theo Sharpe), and Rupert Young (Jack).

Bridgerton can be said to be a romantic and scandalous series depicting friendship, family drama, and also the search for love. Inspired by the novel by Julia Quinn, the series managed to wow audiences in its first season and immediately got the green light for a second season. And even the third and fourth seasons are already in preparation.
