VIVA – Former Ukrainian boxers and heavyweight champions, Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko, are ready to take up arms to defend their country against Russia.
Vitali Klitschko the former boxing king is now the mayor of Kiev. The city that he currently leads has been one of the targets of Russian attacks since last Thursday, February 24, 2022.
Vitali Klitschko said that he had no other choice but to step in and take up arms. He stressed that he was ready to join civilians and the military in fighting Russian troops.

“I had no other choice. I had to do it. I had to fight,” Klitschko said when asked about his readiness to join civilians and the military in fighting Russian forces.
Before Vitali Klitschko, Wladimir Klitschko’s brother, has even been enlisted in the Ukrainian army since early February. He is ready to defend his country until he gets freedom and democracy.
