Disney+ Hotstar recently released the latest original Korean drama entitled Grid. This drama unites a number of top stars such as Seo Kang Joon, Kim A Joong, Kim Moo Yul, to Lee Si Young.
Grid tells the story of Kim Sae Ha (Seo Kang Joon), an employee of a mysterious government agency known as the ‘Bureau’. He spent 24 years tracking down a mysterious figure named The Ghost.
Jung Sae Byeok (Kim A Joong), is a detective who is also investigating the case of The Ghost. He is dragged into the case of hunting for the figure after finding clues that re-open a dead-end case.
Not long ago, detikcom was given the opportunity to interview the two main actors, Kim A Joong and Kim Moo Yul. This drama is the return of Kim A Joong to the small screen after 5 years.
“Yes, I know. It’s been a long time since I last played in a drama, right? I wish I could come back sooner, but I’m doing my best. I never rest,” said Kim A Joong.
“I never said to myself, ‘A Joong let’s rest.’ I never said that. I always received scripts, and reviewed them. But nothing I took. But I’m very happy to finally be back with a project that I am proud of, “he continued.
Grid is also the drama of Seo Kang Joon’s return after 2 years of hiatus. He last appeared on the small screen through When the Weather is Fine in 2020.
Seo Kang Joon plays the role of Sae Ha. He chooses this lonely, terrible, and struggling life for himself. To portray his character, Seo Kang Joon is very good at showing sadness, loneliness, or the wounds of the past. He manages to bring out these emotions. with his eyes,” explained Kim Moo Yul.
“Seo Kang Joon is not just a handsome face. I can see him playing his character in various ways. The audience will be able to see his new faces in the drama Grid,” he concluded.
