VIVA – The Indonesian Patriots were hit by something unexpected ahead of their appearance in the series 2 of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) 2022. Most of the Garuda Muda squad were exposed to COVID-19.
For this incident, the manager of the Indonesia Patriots, Jamin Mattotoran, also apologized to PP Perbasi, IBL, and the Indonesian people. As a result of being infected with the virus, Ali Bagir Al Hadar cs could not participate in the IBL Bandung series which was held from January 29 to February 5, 2022.

Jamin added, Indonesia Patriots are in good condition. All players experienced asymptomatic cases. Intake of food and vitamins during isolation is also maintained.
“We have all been isolated in the hotel,” he said.
