Amblin Entertainment has just unveiled the official poster premiere for Miguel Sapochnik’s sci-fi drama film, Finch, which will debut on November 5, exclusively on Apple TV+. Finch’s poster, which you can see below, features the character played by Tom Hanks leads two of his “followers” on a perilous journey to the remote American West. Yes, Tom Hanks, a dog, a robot, and a post-apocalyptic abandoned city are the four elements in this poster.
Apple TV+ hasn’t released a trailer for Finch. In addition to Hanks and his dog, other actors in this film “only” will feature Caleb Landry Jones as a robot through the motion capture method.
Finch directed by British filmmaker Miguel Sapochnik, who is no stranger to the sci-fi genre, having directed Repo Men and some episodes of sci-fi series like Fringe, Revolution, Falling Skies, and Altered Carbon, so he knows a thing or two about post-apocalyptic scenarios. Sapochnik is also the person who directed Battle of the Bastards, the Season 6 episode of Game of Thrones, which is one of the most famous episodes in the history of the phenomenal series.

Finch is Hanks’ second major project to be taken over by Apple Original Films. The company previously acquired the World War II thriller, Greyhound from Sony Pictures. In this film, Hanks is the commander of the US Navy who in his first war duty escorts a convoy of merchant ships using submarines during the Battle of the Atlantic in 1942.
