FIBA Asia Cup 2022 Draw, Indonesia Faces the Defending Champion

VIVA – The draw for the FIBA ​​Asia Cup 2022 was just held on Friday 18 February 2022. As a result, Indonesia, which acted as the host, entered Group A with defending champions Australia, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

In Group B, there are Taiwan, China, South Korea and Bahrain. Meanwhile, Group C was filled by the runner-up of the 2017 edition, namely Iran. Then, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Syria.

Group D is filled by the giants of ASEAN, namely the Philippines. They will compete with India, the Philippines and New Zealand.

The FIBA ​​Asia Cup 2022 will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. The tournament, which was postponed last year, will be held on July 12-24, 2022.
