VIVA – Repsol Honda racer Marc Marquez failed to open the 2022 MotoGP with a satisfactory record. The eight-time world champion was only able to finish fifth in the Qatar MotoGP.

Gresini Racing’s Enea Bastianini was able to become the best at the Losail Circuit. Marquez argued, still adapting to the changes made by Honda to the RC213V motorcycle.

“This engine is completely different. But, there is no need to hesitate, we will work to adapt. This is a new challenge,” Marquez said as reported by Crash.

Marquez carries out a revival mission in the Indonesian MotoGP which is the second series this season. This Spaniard promised to be speeding at the Mandalika Circuit on March 20, 2022.

“I will perform better in Mandalika, better in results I don’t know. But, I will be easier to understand things because I can work in the morning and afternoon sessions,” explained Marquez.

“In Qatar it is more difficult and this is also a very special circuit. Now, we can understand more in Mandalika, Argentina and Austin and wherever we are,” he said.
