Universal Pictures has finally revealed the official trailer for Blumhouse’s latest horror-thriller project entitled The Black Phonewhich was worked on by duo Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill.
Trailer The Black Phone it features the terrifying figure of Ethan Hawke who plays a sadistic killer named The Grabber. The promo video begins with the kidnapping of his last victim, who then finds a way to save himself from the killer by communicating with his previous victim via a mysterious phone in his cell. As they teach him things that will help him survive, his sister in the outside world has an unexpected vision that will help the police find her.

Robert Cargill, based on the short story by Joe Hill from the book 20th Century Ghosts. This film is expected to be a Blumhouse production that will be able to reap success. In an interview with Collider in June, Blumhouse CEO Jason Blum described the film as “one of the scariest films” his company has ever made. The first trailer of the film has also been shown at CinemaCon some time ago, and the result is that they managed to show a horror dish that is quite promising.
The Black Phone will project Derrickson’s return to the horror genre. Previously he directed Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Roseand Deliver Us From Evil which was quite successful before turning to Marvel Studios superhero films, Doctor Strange.
