VIVA – Chairman of the Indonesian National Esports Team, RM Ibnu Riza Pradipto, revealed the number of matches that have the potential to become a gold medal field for the SEA Games Vietnam 2021. At least, they are in five sectors.
“We are targeting Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, and Free Fire. Meanwhile on PC there is Cross Fire and FIFA,” said Ibnu when met at the Esports National Training Center, in the Megamendung area, Bogor Regency, West Java, Monday 7 March 2022.
Ibnu has strong reasons to put forward the achievements of the five numbers. The reason is, Indonesia has often won from various tournaments that it has participated in.
“For Cross Fire, the game is no longer active in Indonesia, but we are trying to practice because 4-5 years ago they were able to win. However, after the game was no longer active, they were vacuumed. We tried to call the athletes again and they are optimistic about winning gold ,” said Ibn.

“For FIFA, Indonesia has been ranked 2nd in the world. Although it is not FIFA but PES, the gameplay is more or less similar,” he continued.
Currently, the first stage of esports training still contains 128 male and female athletes. Later, that number will be reduced to 66 male and female athletes who will officially become the Indonesian Esports National Team for the 2021 Vietnam SEA Games.
