VIVA – The Qatar 2022 MotoGP which took place on Sunday night, March 6, 2022, was won by Gresini Racing’s Enea Bastianini. Gresini Racing is a team that has many sponsors from Indonesia, one of which is Federal Oil.
Enea Bastianini’s success is a matter of pride for Indonesia.
Starting from the second position, Bastianini appeared calm when he brought the Ducati Desmosedici GP21 even though he was attacked by several senior racers. The strategy he implemented to maintain tire performance until the end of the lap to carry out an attacking pattern, turned out to be successful.
In fact, he was able to get rid of Pol Espargaro (Respol Honda) who had led the race from the start.
The Italian racer finished the race in 42 minutes 13.198 seconds, even setting the fastest time in the race with 1 minute 54.337 seconds on lap 17, while breaking Francesco Bagnaia’s 2021 record with 1 minute 54.491 seconds.
