Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid reportedly split up

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The celebrity couple Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid are reportedly separated.

The split was confirmed by Us Weekly, with sources saying the former couple was “on hiatus from the relationship” and “no longer dating.”

This news comes following increasing speculation on social media that Dua and Anwar have split up, and reports from British magazine The Sun.

“The couple came up with the idea of putting the brakes on their romantic relationship last month because traveling a lot and being separated was proving difficult. Their relationship is going through a crisis,” the source said.

Dua and Anwar first connected in 2019, and spent much of 2020 quarantined with Anwar’s family on their Pennsylvania farm.

Dua spoke about her keeping relationships “quite private”, in an interview with British Vogue.

“We have all these great memories and experiences, and if there’s something we want to share together, then, yeah, it’s fun. We’re just going to show you as much as we want you to see,” said the “Levitating” singer.

“It’s about giving and receiving in moderation, trying to find the right balance of being passionate and in love, and wanting to share it with those around me, but at the same time not wanting to overdo it.”

He previously told Andy Cohen that he met through Anwar’s private social media (DM) message, saying, “I definitely do that. We actually met at a BBQ party, and then proceeded to DM.”
