Dreamworks Promises Unique Heist Action in New Trailer for The Bad Guys

After wowing audiences with popular franchises like Kung Fu Panda and How To Train Your Dragon, DreamWorks Animation back with a film that is expected to be able to entertain the audience again with a film The Bad Guys which will be released on April 22, 2022. The film is based on Aaron Blabey’s hit Scholastic book series, which focuses on a group of criminals known for stealing valuables and carrying out complex heists in the style of “Ocean’s Eleven,” who ultimately decide to become “the good guys.” “.

And now an action-packed new trailer for The Bad Guys has been released and they again indicate that the gang is trying to be “nice” despite being seen as criminals.

In the new trailer, viewers are introduced to the crew in the style of a classic heist film, with a narrative of their skills. First, we meet a safecracker expert named Mr. Snake (voiced by comedian Marc Maron). Then, the hacker team Ms. Tarantula (voiced by Awkwafina). Next, we meet the muscle group named Mr. Piranhas (voiced by Anthony Ramos). Followed by the master in disguise, Mr. Shark (voiced by Craig Robinson). Lastly, we met the team leader, the well-spoken pickpocket Mr. Wolf (voiced by Sam Rockwell). Together, they are “The Bad Guys”, the most notorious gang of criminals in the world.

The trailer then shows that when their job fails, and they are faced with the choice of going to prison, they are offered the opportunity to change their paths and become good people. The gang then hatches a plan to trick the world into thinking they are good while continuing their evil ways in secret. Will they stay on their criminal path, or will they learn along the way to truly becoming The Good Guys?

The Bad Guys will also feature other voice actors such as Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Lilly Singh (Bad Moms), and Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). The film was directed by Pierre Perifel as his debut as a feature film captain, although he has previously served in the animation department for other DreamWorks Animation films such as the Kung Fu Panda trilogy and Rise of the Guardians. The screenplay for the film was written by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder, King of the Hill) and Hilary Winston (The Lego Ninjago Movie).
