DC’s weirdest group of heroes is back to save the world with the return of the Emmy®-nominated series Doom Patrol with the third season. The first three episodes of Season 3 will air concurrently with the US exclusively on HBO GO starting tomorrow Thursday, September 23 while the next episodes will arrive every Thursday.
Doom Patrol is a reimagining of a favorite group of DC Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr (April Bowlby), Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) and Cyborg aka Victor Stone (Joivan Wade), they are all led by the mad modern scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton).
Every member of the Doom Patrol gets into a horrific accident that leaves them with superhuman powers, but also leaves scars and blemishes. As a support group, as well as Super Heroes, Doom Patrol becomes a group of strange creatures with superpowers who fight for a world that does not want their existence.
Season third begins with the culmination of Dorothy’s (Abi Monterey) confrontation with the Candlemaker which leads to extraordinary destruction. Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and each member is trying to see who they really are and what they want to be. And things get even more complicated when Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez) arrives with a time machine for a secret mission, even though she can remember it.

In Season 1, After The Chief’s mysterious disappearance, these heroes are reluctant to be where they never wanted to be and are called to work from Vic Stone aka Cyborg, who proposes a mission that’s hard to resist. Season 1 also stars Alan Tudyk (“Powerless”, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Suburgatory”) as Mr. nobody.
In Season 2, after the defeat of Mr. Nobody, Doom Patrol now find themselves in a mini version and cooped up in Cliff’s toy race car track. This is where they have to deal with their betrayal feelings with Niles Caulder aka The Chief, while dealing with their personal baggage. As each member experiences challenges that grow beyond past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member, Dorothy Spinner (returning guest Abigail Shapiro), Caulder’s daughter, whose powers remain a mystery but threaten. can destroy the world.
