Unlike the Pro+ version, the realme 9 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 695, 64MP Nightscape Camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery capacity.
realme 9 Pro+ was not alone in its launch day. The company also introduced the Realme 9 Pro at a more affordable price, which starts at IDR 3 million. However, not much difference is seen between the two.
Second smartphone both use Light Shift Design like the Pro+ variant which gives a premium impression. This design combines two layers photochromic so that the rear body can change color when exposed to ultraviolet light or the sun and is polished with a layer of star dust that makes it look shiny.
The realme 9 Pro screen measures 6.6 inches with 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display, thus providing a smooth screen experience. Plus, there are 6 adaptive levels for refresh rate which includes 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60/90Hz, up to 120Hz as high as possible.
The realme 9 Pro is supported by Snapdragon 695. Although it is different from the realme 9 Pro +, the device is also equipped with 5G connectivity. This is combined with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, as well as 128GB of internal storage.
Other differences may be found in the main camera. realme 9 Pro does not carry the Sony IMX766 sensor like its older brother. Even so, the resolution is 64MP Nightscape Camera, with two other lenses, namely 8MP super wide lens and 2MP macro lens.
“The Realme 9 Pro packs a very high-resolution 64MP nightscape camera. This camera is well tuned to capture high-resolution images in almost any lighting condition,” said JJ Kwon, realme’s Global Product Marketing Lead.
A more affordable price does not suppress battery capacity on the smartphone this. realme 9 Pro is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery which is bigger than the Pro+. Its durability is also supported by fast charging 33W Dart Charge.
Price and availability
realme 9 Pro is priced at IDR 3,799,000 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM is priced at IDR 3,999,000. During early bird purchases held on realme.com, Akulaku, and JD.ID, consumers will get a discount of IDR 400,000 for the 6GB variant.
