Deep Water Trailer Reveals Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas Playing Dangerous Erotic Games

20th Century Studios has released the official trailer of deep water which is a psychological thriller that will be released this March 18th on Hulu. The film follows a wife who seduces her husband with a relationship outside of their marriage, and it’s all fun and game-filled until someone ends up dead in a swimming pool.

Through the trailer which was also launched along with a new poster, the studio introduced Vic Van Allen, played by Ben Affleck and Melinda Van Allen, played by Ana de Armas. Their marriage seems a little different from the others as Vic and Melinda are involved in an open relationship. However, it can be seen in the trailer that despite their unusual arrangement, Vic still seems jealous that Melinda is explicitly showing off her different relationship.

The trailer also reveals that Melinda is a very mysterious figure, whose true intentions seem impossible to read. Is he really enjoying himself? Is he a psychopath? Or she’s just a girl having fun and the real villain is her husband.

Apart from Affleck and De Armas, the other cast from deep water are Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Dash Mihok, Finn Wittrock, Kristen Connolly, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard, Michael Braun, Jade Fernandez, Grace Jenkins, Brendan C. Miller, Devyn Tyler, and Jeff Pope.

While the official synopsis of this film is:

“This film centers on Vic and Melinda Van Allen, who are an attractive husband and wife who play mind games with each other. This changes when the people around them start to die. The couple prevented divorce in their loveless marriage by allowing each to have a lover, but things fell apart when the story then exposed the surface facade of life in the American suburbs. ”
