Choi Tae Joon officially married Park Shin Hye last month. For the first time after marriage, the actor appeared in a drama production.
Based on the stills released by tvN, Choi Tae Joon will appear as a cameo in the drama Twenty Five Twenty One. He will play the role of Jung Ho Jin, a national fencing athlete who will enter into the life of Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri).
In the released photos, Jung Ho Jin can’t seem to take his eyes off Na Hee Do. In another photo, the two can be seen looking at each other and smiling at each other.
Regarding Choi Tae Joon’s involvement, the Twenty Five Twenty One production team said the actor’s presence would be a plot twist. Although his presence is short, it will leave a strong impression on the audience.
“In the story of youth in Twenty Five Twenty One, Choi Tae Joon will bring plot twists and unexpected things as a character who is connected with Kim Tae Ri,” said the production party.
“Even though his appearance is short, he will captivate the audience with a strong impression. We hope that the audience will look forward to Choi Tae Joon’s appearance,” he concluded.
Twenty Five Twenty One is a Korean drama set in 1998. This drama tells the romance of two young people in the IMF crisis.
Kim Tae Ri plays Na Hee Do, a high school student who loves fencing. He idolizes Ko Yu Rim (Bona), a fencer who is still in high school.
One day funding for his school’s fencing club was cut short due to the IMF crisis. Inevitably, Na Hee Do must find a way to continue his dream of becoming a fencer by transferring to Ko Yu Rim’s school.
In the midst of the crisis, Na Hee Do was met with the figure of Baek Yi Jin, played by Nam Joo Hyuk. He is the son of a conglomerate who immediately fell into poverty because his father’s company went bankrupt in the middle of the IMF crisis.
