VIVA – Complete schedule of the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC) which will be held in Selangor Malaysia, starting from 15-20 February 2022.
The Asian Team Badminton Championships Tournament, representatives of Indonesia involved eight men’s teams and seven women’s teams who were ready to compete to win the championship title for Indonesia.
On the first day of the match, in the match which took place at the Setia City Convention Center, Selangor, Malaysia, Tuesday 15 February 2022, early in the morning, Gregoria, who took the first place, succeeded in spearheading the Garuda Muda Squad. Through a neater game, Gregoria finally gave Indonesia a 1-0 lead after winning 21-16, 21-12 over Cheung Ying Mei.

As reported on the official PBSI page, Gregoria said after the match ended “God’s test I can do my job well, I can win the match in the opening match. Indeed, conditions during training and matches are different. Need to adapt again.”
Gregoria added further, “Earlier I also made some mistakes. Fortunately, the opponent was not yet in the atmosphere of the match so his game did not develop”
According to the women’s singles coach, Herli Djaenudin, Gregoria’s performance was okay. It’s just that because this is the first match, the students still make mistakes several times because their adaptation to wind direction and lighting is not optimal.
