Reportedly, the stock of Apple iPhone SE 2 is almost out. This comes as its successor, the iPhone SE 3 is getting closer to launch.

Apple iPhone SE 3 is rumored to be officially launched soon. Several leaks and rumors have surfaced over the past few months. As its launch draws near, a new report suggests that the iPhone SE 3 may be on its way.

On the other hand, the iPhone SE 2 seems to be getting harder to come by and has even started to run out of stock in offline Apple Stores. Even so, some stores have very few stocks.

Reported from Gizmochina (2/3), a store survey conducted in major cities across the US showed low inventory and unavailability of certain device variants. Major stores in Canada and well-known stores in the UK such as John Lewis and Argos have reported similar situations.

In addition, the lead time for delivery in the UK via Apple’s website now extends beyond two weeks.

iMore says that an Apple retail source in the UK has confirmed that it has received fewer iPhone SE 2 units since early February. It’s limited to those devices only, meaning that the reduced stock isn’t related to a shortage of semiconductors.

Apple’s iPhone SE 3 is expected to be priced lower than its predecessor and has the same design as its predecessor. This info comes from a report by analyst John Donovan who projects the phone can sell for around $300 (Rp. 4.3 million), which means it’s $100 cheaper than the iPhone SE2.

In addition, the iPhone SE 3 will most likely also get 5G support because it is allegedly powered by the A15 Bionic processor.
